Dear Members Our Course Team recently took part in an onsite demonstration of the Husqvarna Robotic Mower range to learn about the capabilities and consider suitability for on course or maintained area use.

Works have now been completed to the fairway bunkers on the 12th, 13th and 17th holes. Each of the fairway bunkers on these holes have been cleaned out to original shell then reshaped with new drainage installed before being relined in a capillary base and filled with sand. Dear Members,  I have now been in the Treasurer role for a few months and we have implemented some key changes in that time, including an ongoing focus on operational costs as well as identifying opportunities for increasing revenue. This has included department labour reviews and the soon to be offered Corporate Membership. 

Dear Members, There are areas across the golf course that are currently works in progress in alignment with the Vegetation Management Plan. Contained below is an updated Plan with notations on areas completed and intended end outcome of areas under progress.

Following member suggestions, we are exploring the possibility of establishing a Manly Golf Club Gardening Club.

Dear Members, We are excited to share some promising news regarding improvements to our beloved golf course. The Board of Directors has recently adopted the capital expenditure budgets for the 2023/24 financial year and through this process have aligned a major portion of expenditure toward the objective of completing the bunker renovations.

Dear Members, One of the key objectives within the Board’s Strategic Plan that holds great importance for the future of Manly Golf Club is to improve or achieve water self-sufficiency.
