Friday 27th June 2025 – vs Wakehurst GC at Warringah GC
On the very chilly final day at Warringah, we were starting in equal 3rd position – but were still in with a chance of winning.
We needed to win against Wakehurst and Bayview had to beat Mona Vale.
The matches were super tight but unfortunately we went down in a narrow 3/2 loss, putting us out of contention.
Our disappointment was eased slightly when we learned Mona Vale had scored the win over Bayview, securing them the Bronze Plaque for this year.
Congratulations Mona Vale GC!
It was a great comp which we all enjoyed, and look forward to next year!

Friday 20th June 2025 – vs Mona Vale GC at Bayview GC
It was the penultimate round for the Bronze Plaque teams, as we gathered at a very cold Bayview where we were greeted to a misty start to the day.
Following 2 washed out rounds, the leader board is congested, so this was moving day as they say, and move we did.
Manly were playing the lovely Mona Vale team who were leading the competition. The matches were tightly contested, finishing on the final few holes, with Manly winning the day 4/1.
The ladies from Bayview provided homemade ANZAC biscuits to get us through the chill and put on a lovely lunch.

Friday 6th June 2025 – vs Long Reef GC at Elanora GC
It was a very chilly start at Elanora.
Happily we were able to peel off the many layers as the morning warmed up.
All matches were very close against a delightful Long Reef ladies team – however Manly prevailed and we came away with a 3/2 win!
The successful day was topped off with the usual delicious Elanora lunch.

Friday 30th May 2025 – vs Warringah GC at Wakehurst GC
After 2 washed out rounds, the Bronze Plaque competition was underway at Wakehurst Golf Club in glorious sunshine.
The Manly team consisting of:
1. Sarah Bedingfield, 2. Sarah Hawke, 3. Gwenny Kalaf, 4. Sue Cruice and
5. Anne Allsopp
We played a very capable Warringah team where each match was tightly contested in the soggy conditions.
Warringah pipped us 3 ½ to 1 ½ matches with 3 matches going to the 18th.
We all enjoyed getting out and playing pennant golf, with Wakehurst providing a lovely lunch after our matches.
Our next match against Long Reef is at Elanora where we hope the sun continues to shine.
