Appointment of Brenden Benad as Course Superintendent
Dear Members,
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Brenden Benad as the Course Superintendent at Manly Golf Club.
Brenden has been fulfilling the role in an acting capacity in recent months and has impressed with demonstrated results not only in improved course presentation, but in effective communication and leadership of the course team. Brenden’s experience with our site, at other leading courses and credentials together with his impact in leading the team, positioned him as the preferred choice to permanently lead our course management team.
A graduate of the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association’s Future Turf Managers Initiative and an ASTMA Certified Sports Turf Manager, Brenden has consistently demonstrated depth of appropriate knowledge to the role, ambition and pride in enhancing the standards of the playing surfaces.
Throughout his evolving career, Brenden has honed his skills at some of the most demanding golf courses in the country, including The Australian Golf Club and Royal Melbourne Golf Club. In each role developing close working relationships with industry leaders and a strong support network of mentors.
We are confident that Brenden’s knowledge, leadership, and passion for his craft will ensure that Manly Golf Club continues to move forward in providing a course of that captures the essence of immaculate Manly —one that all members and staff can be proud of.
