We have recently completed our end of financial year and are moving onto the period of Annual General Meeting and Board election for the 2025/26 year.

The Sub-committee reports from the various chairs in addition to the statutory report attached are in the final stages of editing and will be circulated prior to the general meeting and prior to election voting commencing.
Included with the attachments are profiles of the nominated Directors, Members are advised that as part of the administrative process following the closing date for receipt of nominations, the Nominees and Nominators are checked for compliance with the Club’s Constitution. The second nominator for Nicole Duncan (Director Nominee), was identified as ineligible in terms of Clause 49(a). This was brought to the attention of the both Returning Officer and the Nominee. A subsequent eligible second Nominator, Gavin Fish, signed and completed documents prior to issuance of ballot and election papers.
KEY DATES:
Thu, 27 Nov: 14 days prior to AGM, election direct voting opens. Each eligible member
(2 Day, 5 Day, 7 Day and Life) will be sent an email link to enable online voting or in person can be completed in office hours Monday to Friday.
Thu, 4 Dec: 7 days prior to AGM, Forum hosted for special resolutions at 19:00.
Sun, 7 Dec: 4 days prior to AGM, election direct voting closes 19:00.
Mon, 8 Dec: 3 days prior to AGM, GM advises candidates of election outcome (per r.49 (s)).
Tue, 9 Dec: 2 days prior to AGM, GM publishes to members election outcome (per r.49(s)).
Tue, 9 Dec: Direct voting on any AGM resolution/s opens at 12:00pm.
Thu, 11 Dec: Direct voting on any resolution/s closes at 12:00pm.
Thu, 11 Dec: AGM at 19:00.

Please find attached below Notice with regards to the upcoming elections for the Manly GC Board. Nominations for Directors Opening Notice 2025 PUBLISHED
This will be the first year elections will be conducted under the triennial rule with terms for each role up for election as follows:

Nominations are opening next Wednesday 22nd October with a copy of the nomination form available upon request via reception (Monday-Friday) or email gm@manlygolf.com.au.
Members eligible to nominate as a Director must be a financial 7-Day Playing Member, Special Member or Life Member of the Club, with at least five (5) years’ standing in aggregate as any Playing Member at the time of nomination.
