HALFWAY SERVERY – UPGRADE WORKS IN PROGRESS

Members are advised that improvement works have now commenced in the halfway servery area.

This space began as a temporary service point during the COVID period, and with continued use it is now being upgraded to better meet proper food-service requirements. Works include non-porous flooring and wall finishes, compliant water supply for basins, and general refinements to ensure safe and efficient operation.

While the Club had previously explored a more extensive redevelopment under an approved Development Application, we have intentionally limited expenditure to a modest, practical scope that remedies compliance issues and creates a finished area consistent with the look and feel of our existing amenities.

The adjoining areas have also been fitted with balance of carpets purchased in 2021.

To improve early morning efficiency in the space, additional power and water capacity has been included to enable coffee service once equipment is fitted at a later stage. Final elements such as relocatable counters and display joinery are in production and will be installed once delivered.

Some minor disruption will be noticeable over the coming weeks, though we will continue to minimise any impact on member play and access.
