Dear Members,
In late 2022 the pricing for cart hire was reduced from $40 to $30. This reduction was introduced following extended periods of wet weather where carts were frequently unavailable to hire due to the likely damage to playing surfaces.
The unavailability of carts meant many members who require a cart to play also missed the opportunity to play. As previously communicated the cart price reduction will remain in effect until the end of September 2023. After the discounted period ends the cart hire will increase to $45 per hire. This modest increase on previous full rate reflects increased costs in insurance, repair parts, and labour components since the current fleet was obtained, the rate has also been benchmarked with peer Clubs.
